Veronica Sage McAvoy’s photographic work advocates appreciating the differences in life and seeing the beauty in the unusual. With work that is bold, bright and maybe a bit obnoxious, Sage pairs everyday items unconventionally to create bizarre juxtapositions. Some may say her style is eccentric, tacky or kitsch-and she embraces the charges wholeheartedly.
She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Technology with her BFA in photography. Although she is originally from Piermont NY, Sage McAvoy is currently based out of NYC. She loves nothing more than the summer sun and talking to dogs on the streets of New York.
